Notes & Combos

So I got to DLV 18 with Majespecter (running only majespecter cards with no other non engine) but gave up trying to climb with it after realising I needed a more concise deck that could run handtraps and breakers, so Crystal Beast it was. Typical turn 1 board is Dweller + Decode Talker + monsters (walls) + non engine. Dweller stops HERO from drawing off liquid or cross keeper and stops RDA from triggering Scarred, Vision, Bone in GY, Tuning Gum, Red Reign, etc. and also hurts Predaplant. Vs Subterror/Lyrilusc I swap the Dweller for Hand. If you draw any Crystal S/T or Rainbow Bridge you get to add Conclave or Raigeki to your board which is nice. I usually save the Overdrive for turn 3 cause while it's a nice disruption it gets outed by Super Poly, Scarlight, Predaplant Kaiju, ETC. So better to use it as an otk enabler. You don't really care about DDG that's running about because the skill puts Crystals in GY anyways and you just get the rest you need to off of Pegasus to summon Rainbow Dragon and kill. I summoned Firewall once maybe? Decode just feels better most of the time. Could be an Unchained Abomination I suppose. If you have I:P definitely play it. But yeah, decks solid, formats boring, all there is to say really.
