Notes & Combos
Was never around for original Subterror meta, but this has been one of my favourite decks to play in all my 18 months playing DL.
Can fight the rest of the meta easy, though not sure about Gemini, as I've not seen them once since learning the deck. Also, provided you get to resolve fully resolve the skill, it's definitely felt better to go 2nd.
Still not entirely sure on ratios/techs. Dogmatika Punishment is definitely preferred over Anchamoufrite, but the deck faces consistency issues, and I only have the one Pot of Duality. I could get more, but I'm not sure if I can justify the cost for a playset of a consistency staple that prevents Special Summoning in the "click yellow button for consistency and then Special Summon" game.
Forgoing Terraforming for Super Poly seems nuts, but if consistency is fine with 3x Duality it's definitely better.
Would be running a 2nd Veiler/Nib instead if I had them. Was originally on x2 Droplet, but found it a little too costly.
Was previously running Archer and Warrior, but Archer rarely came up, and I don't think I activated Warrior's effect once (though I'll admit, not sure how I'm meant to use it). The little bit of extra consistency a 1-of Warrior gained didn't feel that useful vs running something else in that slot.
Not 100% sure Cave Clash is worth it. Outside of the ocassional grindy longer game, it's effect never activates, as 80% of the time you swing it's for lethal. However, completely ignoring the text, it's an easy way to have a 2nd Subterror name of field for Guru QE without using up your Final Battle activation for the turn.
Don't sleep on Book of Moon in this. Wasn't running it until recently, but no, yeah, it's great here.
