Notes & Combos
Now that not every single new player with a couple bucks to spend on some structure decks is playing Heroes, it’s actually possible to get dlv max with some garbage without it being technically considered torture. This is why I decided to do it with Trickstar. Trickstar is one of my favorite decks ever, which is why it pains me to say it’s terrible. I was playing Lycoris and lilybell at one point because theoretically they facilitate an advantage engine based on adding back candina to use her over and over, this was until I realized the entire Trickstar extra deck might as well be vanillas because they do absolutely nothing and more non-engine (actually good cards) is just better. The best extra deck monster Trickstar has is crimson heart which has an effect to make you draw 2, this seems good because it synergizes with the large amount of non-engine (actually good cards) it plays by drawing more, however, it also makes your opponent go an equal amount plus because this deck is not allowed to have nice things.
Now, corobane is an okay battle trick and light stage is decent removal. The deck is capable of making an I:P borreload late-game which beats almost everything or a bella madonna in the main monster zone if you were forced to use festival, but these are worse late-game plays than what almost everything else can do (you can also make I:P first turn if the stars align but that’s worse than non-engine anyway). There is absolutely no reason to ever play this deck unless you hate yourself like I do apparently. You would quite literally be better off with 17 non-engine and a playset of 2000 atk vanillas since that’s basically what this engine does anyway. And before anyone asks, no it’s not better to try to burn your opponent.
Someone should build Windwitch Trickstar though, I wanted to but I don’t have the Windwitch cards.
