I hate this format!!!!!!

I played around 100 duels in Gold 5 using Insects (43 against Gaia, I counted!) and lost 3/5 KOG matches because I had to go second against Gaia. Because I didn’t want to keep grinding out matches for another week and a half hoping that I didn’t run into Dragi-*** or pray that every single Gaia player has KOGed by then, I had to go the evil route and play this infernal deck so I could get this over with.

From there it only took me 9 games to KOG, big shocker. I hate that we’re just allowed to play every powerful Fusion archetype in one deck, I hate that this can just pop 3 backrow in one turn and also OTK, and most importantly I hate how Skills are being set up to search 2 cards in one turn despite the fact that searching from deck is something Rush cards are fundamentally designed to avoid.

Just like I did when I KOGed with Dragonic HEROs, I’m gonna suggest some ways to balance this deck better so that it’s not the only deck in the format: Asurastar and Burst Wingman to 1 Extra deck restriction on the Skill, maybe a level/ATK limit on Fusions as well so they can’t run Metarions. The HERO variant is slightly more tolerable and also Konami would love this because it would force the F2P users to spend money on the Box. Require you to shuffle 1 card from hand to search w/ the Skill, also restrict to one card searched per turn (can edit the Skill to 2 uses per Duel if need be. Naturally, the Dragias skill should also get this edit because **** ‘em!) Some other suggestions for the next banlist: Miragias to 3 and its associated Fusion to 1 to hit the Dragon players, and remove Rice Terrain, Elite Spice, Sea Dragon, Melo:D, Maginical, and Grand Extreme from the list to start with
